IV Skills Practice for Student Midwives

Join us to learn and practice your skills in administering Intravenous Fluids in out-of-hospital settings and midwifery practices.
Friday, October 28th from 3pm-6pm
Skills will include:
- Indications, risks and benefits for IV therapy
- Placing and connecting an IV catheter
- Discontinuing IV therapy
- Troubleshooting during placement
This class is open to any student midwives hoping to improve their IV skills. Supervised by a NARM preceptor for credit with MEAC-accredited midwifery schools and credit towards the NARM examination. Please bring official documentation for skills sign-offs.
$20 per person - please register in advance!
